Position Overview: 

As a Guest Service Specialist, you will be the welcoming face and voice of Lake Yale, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. You’ll join our Guest Connection Team, helping to create a warm, hospitable atmosphere that aligns with our commitment to service, ministry, and community. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Relations: Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out, respond to inquiries, and provide information about Lake Yale's amenities, events, and activities.

- Service Excellence: Ensure every guest receives prompt, courteous, and thoughtful service, resolving any concerns or issues efficiently and graciously.

- Communication:* Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and maintain clear communication to ensure a seamless guest experience.

- Administrative Duties: Manage reservations, handle billing, maintain accurate records, and assist with clerical tasks as needed.

- Facility Support: Monitor the condition of guest areas, report maintenance needs, and assist in setting up for events and activities.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Guest Connection Team and other departments to foster a supportive, positive work environment and uphold Lake Yale’s values and mission.

Qualifications: 

- Strong commitment to Christian principles and a desire to serve in a ministry-focused environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a heart for hospitality and service.

- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure while providing exceptional customer service.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative abilities.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, reservation systems).

- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field is preferred but not required.

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays*, and varying shifts as needed. (No work on Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving!)
