Job Type: Part-time with an opportunity for full time after one or two years

Education Level: Prefer master or doctorate level but bachelor will be considered

Experience Level: Entry Level

WISE Bible College Adjunct Professors

Shift Hours: within 9AM to 5PM (but 1-2 hours per day, 3 days per week)

Location: The Kingdom Church, 800 N Pine Hills, Orlando, FL

Compensation Range: $25-$30 per hour (5 hours per week)

Position Summary:

We are seeking 3 adjunct professors to teach English, math, and music. You will be teaching introductory (freshman) courses in your respective subject.

English: Teach Grammer (fall semester) and Composition (spring semester) with concentration on using English to better understand and communicate biblical principles.

Math: Teach Algebra (fall semester) and Business Math (spring semester) with a goal of guiding the students to have a very strong working knowledge of the mathematics involved in running a small- to mid-sized business.

Music: Teach Theory and Application of Worship Music (fall semester) with an emphasis on cultivation of the presence of the Holy Spirit and Music for Evangelism Crusades (spring semester) with an emphasis on using music to draw the unsaved into an encounter with God.

Core Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Develop and implement God-honoring curriculum to be used throughout the life of the college.

Classroom Management: Create a classroom environment that motivates the students to excel and allows students watching on video to feel engaged.

Learning Support: Have one to two hours of out-of-class support for students.

Documentation: You are developing the curriculum to be used for years to come. Therefore, you will need to have each lesson well documented so those after you can teach what you developed.

Work Environment:

Inside classroom. There will also be opportunities for “field trips” if you feel the need.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:

We would prefer applicants have either a Master or Doctorate in their subject of expertise. However, we will accept a bachelor degree if you are working on a graduate degree.

As far as experience. Although we are looking for experience in teaching, more importantly is your experience applying your area of expertise in the real world. In particular, the adjunct professor of music must have experience in leading worship.
