Franklin Munoz with FCA will be sharing Vision with us.
"Franklin Muñoz Jr. is a passionate leader, coach, and servant of faith whose life is marked by a commitment to personal growth, community empowerment, and spiritual mentorship. A 2012 graduate of Penn State University, Franklin earned a double major in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduation, he became a certified Career and College Global Coach, allowing him to design impactful educational and career plans for individuals and organizations around the world. Currently he is working on obtaining his master's from Southeastern University in Ministerial Leadership.
His dedication to community outreach earned him the prestigious Purple Heart Award from the National Society of American Business Owners. Franklin has also been deeply involved in ministry leadership, having served for years in various administrative roles within the youth, young adult, and men's ministries at Soul City Church. Through this work, he mentored and counseled countless young people alongside church leadership. He currently serves as the Metro Director of Osceola County with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Inspired by Proverbs 27:17—"As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." He sees his role at FCA as a divine opportunity to help others discover and sharpen their calling for the Kingdom of God.
One of Franklin’s greatest scriptural inspirations is Ananias of Damascus. He is moved by Ananias’s obedience and selfless faith, noting that even seemingly small acts of obedience can transform lives and expand God’s Kingdom. Franklin refers to his own work with FCA as a series of “Ananias opportunities”—moments to serve with courage, humility, and purpose.
Franklin describes his spiritual journey as one of ever-deepening faith and wonder. “He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow,” Franklin says, “but as I get to know Him deeper... I continue to find myself in awe.” He believes that true discipleship is relational, not transactional, and he is committed to serving the Body of Christ with truth, grace, and love. To Franklin, leadership is not about being served, but about serving others—just as Jesus did. His mission is to help others reach their calling, not with envy or competition, but with encouragement and joy."
